PRESENTING PERFECT ZEN VON DER GRENZSAEGMUEHLE – ZEN (31.12.2010)

How to start to describe my little white perla! My one and only Parson Russel terierr.

He came like a tornado in our house. He is a gentle and sensitive dog but at the same time with a strong desire to satisfy own desires! »Everything is mine« is his rule. It was hard to teach him that is not alone in the family, that all food does not belong to him, all toys are not only his, all house is not built just for him.

And at the same time he is the smartest dog in the world – for himself...and it took me a months, years to teach him that we are family and he is part of this family. And  YES he became a part of the family, his best friend Viva is great playing partner, Šana is someone who has to be respected, Ulm is (unfortunally) the main male in the house, and he respects that fact...  and we are starting to enjoying time together with a lot of activity.

He loves dogs, people, cars and backpacks. He thinks that he is the most desirable dog on the planet...he jumps in every open car looking for backpacks where are toys and food, going to every open house (tent, room,...) to check if there are some good people with good food, he will give you as much kisses as you like and he will be in your lap – want it or not. He is just unstoppable. And loud!

And he is becoming more and more focused on doing agility. There are still some smells that awaken his strong hunting instinct, but he can be focused on agility more and more time. We still have to do a lot, but he starts to enjoy a lot and that is the most important things...if he enjoyes I enjoy! And we are happy!

He is definetly morning dog...after our first walk he turns around the entire house, begging for attention and playing with himself or Viva. After few hours of fooling around he goes in his box and house sinks into the blessed peace. Which (thank God) usually do not take long...
